After more than five years with REI, Dru had his last day there on Friday. We are thrilled that he will now be working for a hospital here in San Diego as a CT Assistant, which will be a really great experience for him to have after he is done with school! I know that Dru has just LOVED working for such a wonderful company, and I also know that REI has been pretty lucky to have an employee like Dru. His co-workers always look to him, and his managers have always complimented his work. He is so awesome. I know that Dru is a bit sad to be leaving REI, which has given him so much, but I think that this is the best way to leave a job, with a little bit of sadness...it means he has had a great experience there. PLUS, we met at REI...which means, no REI, no Erin and Dru. For that reason, Dru and I will always love REI, and it will always be a special place for us! Join me in congratulating Dru on a job well done, and good luck with his new opportunity! Dru had a really fun going away party, and lots of the REI crew showed up to see him off, it was really fun. So many thanks to those who came! We had such a great time!
